Se ha publicado el pliego de condiciones impuesto por la Troika para que Grecia reciba la “ayuda”. Es un texto impresionante por el nivel de detalle de las medidas que se exigen: desde cómo se debe hacer la reducción de gastos en medicamentos, los fondos que deben recaudarse en las privatizaciones y las profesiones cuyos reglamentos deben modificarse.

The minimum wages established by the national general collective agreement (NGCA) will be reduced by 22 percent compared to the level of 1 January 2012;for youth (for ages below 25), the wages established by the national collective greement will be reduced by 32 percent without restrictive conditions. Clauses in the law and in collective agreements which provide for automatic wage increases, including those based on seniority, are suspended.

Recognition of professional qualifications
All the necessary measures are taken to ensure the effective implementation of EUrules on the recognition of professional qualifications, including compliance withECJ rulings (inter alia, related to franchised diplomas).In particular, the Government: keeps updating the information on the number of pending applications for therecognition of professional qualifications, and sends it to the EuropeanCommission.presents draft legislation by end-March 2012, to be adopted byQ2-2012, in order to remove the prohibition to recognise the professional qualifications derived from franchised degrees. Holders of franchised degrees from other Member States should have the right to work in Greece under the same conditions as holders of Greek degree
